I’m Captain Mike — a seamanship instructor who teaches through calm presence, real conditions, and clear decision-making.
My approach is grounded in patience, respect, and an awareness of the environment we move through.

I’ve trained hundreds of students and sailed in Greece, Italy, Thailand, the Bahamas, BVI, USVI, Mexico, San Francisco, and Canada.
Beautiful BC is where I feel most connected to the water and where I teach each summer.

My role is simple: keep the learning calm, support you at every step, and help you understand the boat, the environment, and your decisions on the water.
